The DescriptionsHub Team

We write job descriptions for a living, so we’ll start by describing our own jobs.

About Us team

DescriptionsHub helps people understand roles, duties, skills and requirements. Employers use our guides to write clear job postings, job seekers use them to understand a role before applying, and students use them to explore careers. We are a four-person team in Houston, Texas, and each of us has a clearly defined job.

Our Approach

Clear structure. Every description follows a predictable layout: what the role is, what the person does, what skills and qualifications are needed, and what the career path looks like.

Real-world accuracy. We describe jobs as they actually work today, including modern roles such as SaaS sales development, implementation and operations positions.

Plain language. We avoid buzzwords and vague phrases. If a requirement matters, we say exactly what it means.

Useful for both sides. A good description should help an employer hire the right person and help a candidate decide whether the job fits.

Kept current. Job titles and skills change, so we revisit our guides and update them.
